  1. 'Would you like super sex?' 'If it's all the same to you I'll have the soup...' 🤣
  2. Same here - 2 sons, both junior SSC members but with my email address. Have sorted myself out but no idea how to set up a new password for them. Surely they must have realised the likelihood of this? 🤷‍♂️
  3. I thought Jonathan Davies was abysmal - they'd be as well giving the microphone to any random Welsh fan and letting them shriek whatever they like during the game. Great first half performance but inexplicable second half. Anyway, they won and they've got 2 home games coming up. Massive opportunity to stake a claim for the title but they've got to be disciplined and play to their strengths. Going to both home games and Ireland away #daretodream
  4. A&O Hauptbahnhof, close to the central station, as the name suggests.
  5. Thinking this through, given all the unwanted shite the SSC has punted our way over the years as a justification for the inflated membership prices (various shirts, a CD, a scarf, badges etc) they could at least have gauged interest from SSC members some months before the shirt launch and allowed those who wanted to buy it a guaranteed shirt, possibly even at a price more like what we're used to. End result: likely more sales, more money and a happier membership...
  6. I suspect it's down to bandwidth issues due to the volume of folk using the site at the same time, but there are other websites that get round this with a queuing system that updates you with the number of people in front of you - would be a much easier system for the user...
  7. Stick with it - I got stuck on about 6 separate phases of it but eventually got a completed order after about half an hour. If you get to the point where you enter your discount code and it doesn't seem to do anything after you click apply just click the proceed to order button (or similar) and it should reflect the discount when the next page eventually loads.
  8. It's not just the price that's reduced by 15/30 % - there's a significant reduction in the amount of material they've used too 🤐. I've bought adidas XL across a range of football shirts before and they've all fitted perfectly - this one is tight across the chest and about 3 inches shorter from collar to waist. Gie's peace SFA/Adidas...
  9. Got my Springsteen tickets for Murrayfield and am also taking in Dublin and Copenhagen, as I'm convinced this'll be his last huge tour. Such a shame that by the time the gigs come round the gap since his last European tour will be 7 years - he'll have gone from age 66 to 73, which is a fair chunk of time to lose for someone who thrives on doing big live shows. There used to be a big Springsteen following on the TAMB - do Stapes or deecee ever post these days?
  10. Horrendous performance. Utterly inept in every aspect of the game - they're playing like their minds are on the beach already.
  11. It's something that's in the back of my mind when taking my boys in, as they're both fairly young. I always try to put them through the turnstile first on the basis that they'll probably be able to find their seats if my tickets doesn't work for any reason but it's still not a pleasant thought.
  12. Aye, I saw lots of lights and cones in the road ahead and both my car satnav and the one on my phone recommended the route via the Clackmannanshire bridge (which we took) so that sounds right...
  13. I was amazed - I was resigned to not getting in for ages. The stress of knowing that anthems and kick off are imminent is no fun at all.
  14. I couldn't get away from Aberdeen till after 3pm due to having to collect my sons from their schools to take down to the match. Didn't get parked in central Glasgow till just after 7pm & then we were fortunate to get a taxi quickly. We still only got to the ground at 7.35pm and fully expected massive queues but there were only 3 or 4 ahead of us at each turnstile at the South Stand and the printed out tickets were fine. We were very lucky...
  15. Beveragino. I only heard it for the first time last week but it's fecking awful. It's up there with 'a quick snifter' or 'a glass of the old falling down water'. No need for for euphemisms for a glass of wine or beer. Only ever used by utter tossers.
  16. I thought it was great - captured the spirit of being a Scotland fan really well. Will keep an eye on their YouTube channel…
  17. Probably the best since France at Hampden in 1989 or even Spain in 1984. They absolutely battered Denmark in the first half and could have scored 4 with a bit of luck. One to savour… 👍
  18. That’s sad news. I met him when I was in Milan for the WC qualifier match v Italy in 2005. A friendly guy and I loved his story of why he followed Scotland - he’d gone to Wembley for the 1971 England-Scotland match supporting England, but when he got inside the stadium and saw the atmosphere created by the Scottish supporters he decided that was the team for him and followed them ever after that.
  19. Immensely proud of that - don’t think I’ve been so proud of a Scottish performance since Paris in 2007. Not one Scottish player would fall short of 9/10. A win would have been the icing on the cake but they can hold their heads high after that.
  20. We’re down to the last 5 episodes of Breaking Bad - it’s good, with well created characters but to justify a claim as the best TV ever would be a stretch. Watched all series of Spiral prior to this and I prefer it - more characters it’s possible to like compared with BB…
  21. The first one's the biggie - if we were to win that, then I can't see us not getting at least a point from the other two, and that should set us up well. A draw would be fine though as we'd still be in it going into the last game whatever happened against England. We rarely start well in tournaments - 2 wins and 2 draws in our history, so would make a pleasant change to have something on the board after the first game...
  22. Out for a family walk yesterday and came across tons of wild garlic growing in the woods. Got a fair amount and have so far made pesto and soup with it. It's meant to be better if harvested before the flowers come out but both were really tasty - I wouldn't normally eat pesto but it was way better than the commercial stuff 🙂 Wild garlic pesto recipe | BBC Good Food wild garlic soup | Lost in Food
