  1. I'm moving to Norfolk in the next couple of months and would like to know if there are any fellow TA in the area or even better any clubs/pubs for games??
  2. Very important what shirt we wear...we play in navy blue they play in what ever pish they want...simple as that!!!!
  3. Aye it was funny being shafted just before Christmas yah tosser!!
  4. I'm not complaining now...I went through all that months ago trust me!! Got onto the SSC and left details with them but no response. Royal Mail could do nothing. Tried calling him with user ID blocked and as soon as I started to talk he made out he couldn't hear me. This guy really made my blood boil. At the end of the day if you fail to deliver you refund the money or claim from RM, one way or the other.
  5. It has been a while since this incident but I wanted to share this story with my fellow supporters and may be someone will know the culprit. Due to a number of reasons (long shifts, three youngsters, moving home etc) I managed for the first time ever to miss the deadline for the Wembley game. So in desperation to get me and my pal tickets I seen a post on here stating someone was selling two tickets on Craigs List. I have always been very careful where and who I purchase from online. Anyway I phoned the mobile number and spoke to a Scottish guy claiming himself and his brother where unable to make the game and he would post the tickets. He seemed very genuine and we kept in contact via text and calls so i trusted the tickets would be sent....I was wrong!!! I sent the money via bank transfer and he said tickets would be straight in the post next day delivery. I waited for the postie the next day and nothing. His first excuse was his wife was supposed to post them, but they would be sent the following day. Nothing again so he now tells me they where sent standard post by mistake with two days to go before the game. Even though I'm in London there was still plenty of time for them to arrive but here I was midday on game day waiting for the postie when I was supposed to be in town with my dad and pals! Even after all this he said he would be claiming from Royal Mail for lost post etc etc and a full refund would be made to me, but nothing! I have the culprits name as this was connected to the bank account details he provided, please get in touch via personal message and I can provide his name. I know he may never of had any tickets in the first place but talking to him on the phone and the fact he was a Scot with the advert stating SCOTLAND ONLY tickets for sale he didn't come across as a conman. Hopefully we can name and shame this idiot!!!
  6. Aye me and my dad where chatting away to that John Portsmouth Football Club mad man and his pals...right good laugh!
  7. You will tap out of the underground then tap into the rail station. Always remember to tap out!!! When you use an oyster or debit card it caps off at travel card price so you can travel all day on buses/trains/tube/thames clipper/overground within london.
  8. Don't think a Scottish accent will be an issue at Millwall...the only London club founded by Scotsmen...play in Scottish colours and have a Scottish badge. I've gone to Millwall for years and drink in the boozers. One of the old school top boys always reminds me of his second team...The Bully Wee!! If you do take in this game then head for the Marquis of Granby in New Cross or The Farriers Arms in Surrey Quays. Both near stations only about 10 mins from town. I live in Bromley (Londons biggest borough) Hayes Lane is a fantastic park with large open and covered terracing. Trains run from London Victoria to Bromley South (fast train only 16 mins) big Wetherspoons opp station. Also big club house serving bevvy in the park. PM me if you need any other info for places to go and how to get there etc and I'll do ma best to give you a heads up!
  9. I won't go into detail why I missed the sale. So I don't need anyone telling me that everyone got one that wanted one!! Any help would be much appreciated.
  10. I live in London and one of the top things I miss from up the road is the Chippie's....oh and the family!!!
  11. For the last couple of seasons I was following Dulwich. Great atmosphere with the 'Dultras', you could pop into Sainsburys next door and walk straight in with a carry oot. But like all good things they come to an end...thus being all the hipsters turning up with bottles of Sambuca and shot glasses taking the piss!! So no more carry oot and 100 deep at the bar! So we now follow the mighty Fisher Fc. A club with a fantastic history from Bermondsey. We followed them on and off for a few years but due to the state of the club (sharing at Dulwich and maybe 10 fans and pish football) it was hard work on a winters night! But now at last this season they returned to Salter Road in Bermondsey and a brand new park. Pity they're away on Saturday but if anyone gets the chance they're only playing at Longfield just south of London in Kent. Check out the History of Fisher!!
