Any road, all this concern about Mods is neither here nor there now that we have these loopholes in the Board's continuum. The Mods' days are over. As thplinth says, there's endless opportunities for new Mod-free forums out there. Norrie's profile (http://taboard.com/forum/index.php?showuser=7532) should be used by Unionists for their own forum.

I use a football board where the mods are publicly nominated and changed every year!

This is the only forum I know of that allows anonymous mods. I dont think it's common practice and it reeks of boy clubness. Make me a mod I'll sort the huns....... I mean mischeive makers out without the anonymity.

I've banged on for 7 years about Mod anonymity, there's no threatening behaviour towards mods at games (there was a one off incident I believe) thats a red herring. Still no poll.

The anonymity of the Mods doesn't bother me, tbh. Most regulars have a fair idea who most of them but by & large we keep up the agreed fiction. There's been talk of certain Mods being threatened at games and there's just enough nutters on here to make that believable.
