  1. Atmosphere generated by Scotland fans at Home/Away games has been poor for a few years. Hopefully we can raise our game at Wembley next month both on the pitch and stands. The match day atmosphere at home has deteriorated over the last 4 yrs and although it's refreshing to try new ideas it hasn't worked. Dedicated singing sections have worked at club level so it may be worth giving this a go. Appreciate that some fans find this hard to accept but noise level at the Lithuania game was poor.
  2. 20 of us booked last night 31/8 Luton 10am - Kaunas 2/9 Vilnius 1640 - Liverpool £108 for both flights.
  3. I've 2 spare Maltese FA tickets for the Scotland section priced at 25 Euros each. Please DM.
  4. Did the SSC attempt to secure more tickets? If they did and were unsuccessful they should inform their members of this. We'll have to agree to differ but I feel they could have negotiated a larger allocation.
  5. Made what up ? Stadium will not be full. Members on 0/1 points don't want official tickets? You've lost me! 6 of our group on 0 or 1 point have purchased 25 Euro tickets.
  6. As a member of the Travel Club/SSC for around 30 yrs I'm fully aware and supportive of the system in place for purchasing away tickets. However, on this occasion it is clear that that the SSC could have secured more tickets to meet the demand of members of the SSC who are on 0/1 points.
  7. Bought 6 for our group who were unable to buy SSC tickets. Still think it's disgraceful that some fans are paying £50 for a membership and having to buy unofficial Scotland end tickets at twice the price. Think on this occasion the SSC could have done better.
  8. Last summer we flew into Split, stayed 2 nights before getting the ferry over to Hvar for 3 nights. Ferry to Korkula for 2 nights and then another ferry to Dubrovnik. After two nights in Dubrovnik we hired a car and drove to Kotor in Montenegro for 3 nights then into Bosnia visiting Mostar for 2 nights before returning to Split. One of the best holidays I've been on. Both Split and Dubrovnik have beautiful compact centres crammed with bars/restaurants. The islands were short ferry journeys from Split/Dubrovnik and well worth visiting. Kotor is a fantastic walled town situated at the end of a fjord. It's very busy during the day with tourists but much better in the evenings. I preferred Kotor to Budva which I felt was slightly tacky. Finally Mostar in Bosnia is not too far from Dubrovnik and worth going to see the bridge and the divers!
  9. Can't believe they're charging £3 postage per membership renewal.
  10. O'Halloran is a wide player whose competition for a place in the Scotland set up at present would be Forrest or Anya. His pace is his main asset but his all round game has improved enormously this season, in my opinion he offers more than Forrest. I would expect him to move on from Saints at the end of this season and two months after his move gain his first cap v Malta in Sept!
  11. Rosenborg have much in common with Celtic. Both humped 1-0 at home by the mighty Perth Saints
  12. Still plenty of seats left on bus to N Ireland game.
  13. Depart St.Madoes 1630 Bridge of Earn 1645 Perth Prison 1700 Broxden 1710 Cost is £10.
  14. Jailer Tours bus to the Gibraltar match. Depart St.Madoes 1030 Bridge of Earn 1045 Perth Prison 1055 Broxden 1110 Booked into Queens Park Social Club pre match, straight home after the match.
  15. Still spaces available on Jailer Tours bus. Departs St.Madoes 1630, Bridge of Earn 1645, Perth Prison 1700 and Broxden 1710.
