I've never actually seen the shirt swirling thing before, although I used to work with a guy who was from Harthill (in the bawnd, on holiday to Belfast every July etc.) who would mimic it every time he described a great night out. I lived in Saltcoats for 27 years, my parents still live there, as do most of my mates. I can assure you those reprobates aren't a reflection of the vast majority of it.s residents. Put it this way, i doubt you'll see Bobby Lennox, Steve Clarke or Roy Aitken walking alongside those scumbags. Ironic thing is, the only secondary school in the town is catholic!
