Ha ha will be amusing watching his ultra softball treatment versus Sharapova's ultra hardball.

On the PE aspects of Melowhatsitsname... "Its use has a sort of urban legend element.." I think that is what its banning was about rather than any real evidence. But I am just running on hunches.

It was banned as a political move. Like Asthma inhalers are used by Brits, when they should really be banned.

Hmmm. Did you watch the Ward Kovalev fight the other night? Ward must have punched him below the belt a million times. That ref was a shocker.

Aye, low as hell in 8th round. The fight was trending away from him a bit, but you never know, Tony Weeks is a shit ref.

It's why eyepokes are prevalent in MMA the punishment of a warning is worth it to render your opponents vision compromised.

Apart from Murray brothers and I suppose Gordon Reid in wheelchair events are there any other Scots at Wimbledon this year? Someone called O`Mara in Men`s Doubles has residence as Arbroath on Wimbledon website.

Could count Cameron Norrie - South African born to a Scottish father and Welsh mother. Lives in the US (via New Zealand). opted to represent GB at tennis.

They're making a big thing of the four home players in action at the All-England club today, born in Glasgow, Guernsey, Ljubljana and Sydney...

Isn't immigration wonderful?  :ok:

Yes and it's a tad ironic seeing some of the xenophobic rags bigging up the success of the Brits.

Anyway that's another thread entirely...

Please can some of Murray's refusal to get beat spill over to our football teams. After this week's European shambles they need a good dose of his grit and determination. Ten years in a row getting to the last 16, quite an achievement. Didn't seem to be moving so well, hope he's okay.
