Aye it's kinda creepy but not that scary The clown is definitely the most scary as he appears out of nowhere and thats you toast He was in a kitchen cupboard one of the times i played it and i shat it ! There is a Ghoul/Zombie and a Werewolf roaming the house but you can hear them coming and take evasive action There are Gnomes as well who go around switching off all the lights you have turned on and nastier ones who try and stab you

hunchy
Don't really get scared at films but have definitely been scared by computer games. Resident evil and the first aliens game on the PlayStation are the first that spring to mind

RenfrewBlue
As others have said The Shining scared the crap out of me when I first saw it. The other films to do that in a similar way are It! , The Thing and Salems Lot. Stephen King has been scaring me witless for years now. Still buy all his books mind you. ? I was 11/12 when Salem's lot was shown on the TV over here and can remember everyone at school talking about it. Frightened the shit out of everyone - probably a bit tame now Danny Glick at the window and this bit in particular lol

I'd have been around 10 when I watched. Couldn't sleep for weeks convinced I'd be taken next. That reminds me of another abduction type one. Set in Alaska or Canada I think and supposedly based on a true story. Can't remember the name but do remember Googling the main character in a frantic attempt to convince myself none of it happened for real! I think the aliens took some bones out her back and she was in a wheelchair at the end. Scary as fck.
