Was there not something a few years back about Tax Breaks/Credits for UEFA/FIFA are/were looked upon favorably when picking a host, but the FA would not go down that road? After getting their fingers burnt a little with Poland and Ukraine in 2012,plus the shambles that Russia and Qatar is turning out to be for FIFA, and the uncertainty of how 2020 is going to pan out, I suspect the days of UEFA looking at places like Turkey are now gone, and future tournaments (given how big it now is) will rotate between England-Spain-France-Germany-Italy.
