Bomber was not popular because he was a borderline Neanderthal who struggled to construct a sentence. His whaaaars the deeeeds nonsense should have ensured he never worked in the game again, he was only employed because our chief executive was his mate, it wasn't based on any managerial ability.

But his results were decent, were they not? Alex Ferguson struggled to construct a sentence but he did alright.

No, results were not decent.

He also replaced a very popular figure, it was a stupid decision to sack Smith, and a ridiculous decision to hire Brown. Half the fans were vehemently against him from the start.

A massive gamble for Dundee but i can see the thinking.

It looked as if Hartley was out of ideas with the squad he has and possibly someone else can inspire some fight for the next 6 games

Did the club not sell two of Hartley's best players/strikers though or is that a myth ?

I read this morning that Greg Stewart is still Dundee's top scorer this season. Not sure how true it is though.

Win percentages as Dundee manager:

Alex Rae 43.30%

Very popular Barry Smith 38.24%

Bomber 46.15%

Paul Hartley 33.33%

So, with the exception of Gordon Chisholm, whose percentage I couldn't find, Bomber is your most successful manager in the last 10 years. A more ridiculous decision was the one to get rid of him, it seems.

It's true.

We lost Hemmings and Stewart, but they left with over a month to be replaced, and he signed utter donkeys. He forced Harkins out, and again didn't replace him.

He signed just under 50 players, most were terrible, he couldn't get a squad that was balanced. Make no mistake, Hartley royally fcked this season up.

Browns wins mainly came in the 1st division, he was sacked when we were joint top. He wasn't a success, and you won't get many fans who were sorry to see the back of him.

Why was he sacked when you were joint top and if do you not consider joint top to be a success, what is?

Went on a bad run, hadn't won in a few games. He was also arguing with everyone, including players and fans. He had to go.

The new Interim boss holds his UEFA Pro Licence and has coaching experience from his time at Dunfermline, he has also has obtained a great knowledge and experience of the game and the current Dens squad through his work with Sky Sports.

WTF??:lol::lol:
