I am not meaning to suggest he's not had a very good season. However, IMO, Aberdeen's two most important players this season have been Joe Lewis and Greame Shinnie. I've voted for Lewis as AFC POTY. Shinnie was the one I had thought was most likely, from the posts on here. I also know a couple of Celtic fans who don't think Dembele should be up either. They reckon he's a greedy barsteward who would be a great player if he learned to pass regularly. I feel that's a bit harsh but definitely think Sinclair is the more important of the two. PASTA Mick
Sinclair has been our POTY by a mile in my opinion.
macy37
Christie hasn't really been given the Sheeps YPOTY has he?

Squirrelhumper
Doesn't say much for Aberdeen's Youth System when an on loan Celtic player who only signed in January and has hardly started every game is their YPOTY!

Says everything about McInnes' attitude towards our young players. A complete refusal to give any of them a proper chance in the side. The one black mark against his time as manager. macy37
Embarrassing. How many games has he started? 10?
shaggycoo
I'd of thought the young boy then had on loan from Norwich, Maddison?, would of been a better shout..

One British side out of 100!

min
The YPOTY was chosen by McInnes himself, so think the selection of Christie is part of an attempt to woo him to Pittodrie on a permanent basis.
