I had my fair share of a disagreements with him but i'd never want folk to get banned. Especially for something that was playground bullshit that went too far. I never even considered that he might have been banned. Surely not?? What did he do to deserve a ban. More likely a combo of having had enough and being a bit embarrassed by his spat with Slasher. For instance in a debate about how catholics had to put their religion on bank forms in the early 80's he just completely made up the claim that he had "kept" bank forms from them and had went and looked and it wasn't the case. When i actually payed to get the news article from the archive and prove him wrong, he went mental and started calling me a virgin,mentalist, blah di blah. He had a the touch of a fantasist about him. The board doesn't go that far back now, but when Jim Fairlie was saying he was the only catholic in the whole of Perth Police and how everyone would whistle the sash to him the start of everyshift, he was making shit up when Fairlie came out with that as well. Weird laddie. Mind he was DutchTV making a joke about woman being at home doing the ironing in 2015, maybe he just thought it was still the 80's that's why he had bank forms from then.
