Suppose that makes sense. Still pretty steep for a friendly though. Testimonials would be perfect for a "pay what you want" type thing. macy37
I had a fine lift on Gateshead beating Well on Saturday. 9/2 was like printing money. Gateshead are a very decent side.

Gateshead are a very decent side. You'd have had a nervous few moments at the end. That is a cracking bet though. There's probably not a great deal between any 2 sides at this stage, so 9/2 the home side is great.

They've certainly improved (or Scottish teams got worse) as we drew with them 1-1 last season (albelit with a team of new signings) but I saw us beat them 8-1 pre season about 16 years ago! slasher
Liking the look of Ntcham and Benyu today. Armstrong best think on about a new contract or he could be playing at West Brom or somewhere shortly.
Mox
Played well first half, utterly scudded second half. Summer football as well, pishing it down and lucky if it was more than about 12 degrees at the end.

Dunno if she's just saying that though as she knows I rate him!

He might just be the answer to our central defensive problems and should definitely be pushing for a place this season alongside Simunovic. ?
