Hello Every one. 

I would like to share some of information about Lithuania. 

Day of science and knowledge (September 1st) is the universal start of schoolyear in Lithuania, also followed by most universities. Kids bring flowers to their teachers and there are no lessons but a short introduction. Alcohol sales in shops and supermarkets are banned all over Lithuania that day to discourage teenagers from getting drunk in post-holiday meetings with classmates.

From 1st to 3rd of September are beginning "Capital festival" where city will be very bussy special on main street Gedimino avenue. Later in evenings you'll find also some atractions on some of other streets near the river, where you can enjoy quality street food from the trailers. It's realy tasty !

Hee hee, you might not get many St Johnstone fans wanting to go to Trakai. However, it is well worth the visit, beautiful place and the kibinai is delicious (bit like a bridie but with various fillings)

That all sounds great and as long as the bars and restaurants are open then all will be good.It should be a good couple of days and by the sounds of things the city will be busy.
