I know but at least we won them. We're going to need to be a helluva lot better against Slovakia.

Disappointing to say the least. Looks like goal difference wasn`t mentioned before either game. We all know we don`t have much quality but Lithuania and Malta were both very weak and I`m sure we could have added 4 to goal difference over 2 games. Even a 3-0 win against Slovakia won`t be enough for a draw to be ok in last game..

Still not a done deal but a worthy result. Worried about Slovenia more than Slovakia. They're 7-0 over all home games

Unfortunately it seems like 2v0 was considered ok. A 5v0 would have given us some hope to get through with draw in Slovenia but looks unlikely now

Aye things are going to improve for next month. Not sure I fancy Phillips much. He's good-ish but I feel Snodgrass has got to find his form in the next month for villa as he offers more quality.

Stilk think we would have needed 2 wins in last two games to make sure we were not the lowest second placed team. Was disappointed in lack of urgency to get more goals after going 1-0 up early on.

Wasn't the greatest performance. But we had to win so that's all that matters. Atmosphere was very flat but again the vibe was strange, people more concerned with what was happening elsewhere. 

At the end of the day we did what we had to and got the result from England. It was never going to goto goal difference so nothing Changes. 2 down 2 to go. 

Fully expect the place will be packed and jumping come the Slovakia game.

I think the Slovakia game will be a draw... they are a better side  than us.

Nowhere near the level of performance from Friday but we won as did England so it's very much in our own hands.

It'd be good to see Snodgrass and Burke hitting a wee run of games/form over the next month to push them into the reckoning.

Phillips is woeful,  constantly losing the ball. Clearly thinks hes better than he is.

We were terrible after the first 15 minutes. Chris martin is also a waste of a jersey. Forrest should just go away and find another profession. We will be lucky to draw with slovakia if we play like that.
