He's done little so far in the game he has played to suggest he'll be a permanent fixture in the team for years to come. His 20 minute cameo in Astana was bomb scare material, all be it everyone was poor that night but it was obvious he was way out of his depth. The most concerning thing though was the fitness or lack of it last night, he was blowing out his arse after about 55 mins and offered Roberts absolutely zero support going forward the whole game.

Getting to the CL group stage is important to Celtic as it brings in serious money we don't get from other avenues that other teams get, like TV. It allows us to keep players like Dembele and Tierney a little longer. 

However, in the era of a handful of mega rich super teams, the Champions League has become an awful competition until the later stages. This rounds of matches has seen a 6-0, a 5-0, a 4-0 and several other one sided matches. 

The Champions League has resulted in almost every league in Europe being dominated by the same teams and it is killing top level football.

 Sick of hearing guys who know nothing about the years of following a team from the bottom to the top know nothing about football at all. Pasta is terrible for that. When I started following Saints they were the worst in the country. The bottom of division 2. Guys like Pasta, Mox, etc. tell us all about the failings of McInnes, Wright et al, then bleat about the gulf between PSG, England or Spain. The only guys who actually have a clue about reality are Slasher, Reevesy and Dalgety to name a few.

I've never complained about the gulf, I dont expect to beat PSG, I accept we will get scudded and I've no real issue with it either.

There will be many a better team than Celtic take as much of a doing from PSG than they had the other night.  

As for the Ralston comments, I thought he put up a decent display against Neymar and Mbappe.  He also had a cracking 50 yard run late into the game which had Silva scrambling.  The boys 18, give him a chance?
