Had a spell in the mid 70s where he was outstanding and seemed to always play well against Rangers Was an early age to hang up his boots and think he had a lot of confidence issues - a lot probably down to racism. True. Shocking times they were. Although I think many of the folk abusing him would have had no idea of his ethnic background due to his less exotic name.
