Question Time Tonight

Recommended Posts

Daniel Hannan - Tory MEP

Owen Smith - Labour MP

Angus Robertson

Baroness Jones - Tory Peer

Dia Chakrabatty - tax payers alliance.

Two Tories, presumably one from either wing of the party for "balance"

Me too ,that green woman wiz wacked man !

Strange sort of Green seeing as she plans to vote out of the EU and would get rid of inheritance tax, both of which are not Green policy. She didn't know what the Greens' position on inheritance tax was!

So it ended up being a panel of 3 for out of the EU, and 2 in.

Dimbleby said next week's panel included Kate Hoey, Liam Fox and the Wetherspoons boss. All are outers. Seems they're struggling for balance.

Seemed to be entirely about the EU from what I saw. Switched over to watch the Liverpool v Dortmund highlights...

Only a couple of the questions were about the EU but Daniel Hannan managed to bring the rest round to how bad the EU is.

Hoey's been rumoured in the past to have considered defecting to the Conservatives. Also makes no secret of her support for the Ulster loyalists.

Whilst I'm voting to stay in, I think if the "Out" campaign want to attract undecided left-of-centre voters, they should get Kelvin Hopkins on TV. He's the very independent minded Labour MP for Luton North, a libertarian socialist, anti-war, pro-immigration, republican and a eurosceptic. He offers an interesting and rarely heard left wing case for leaving the EU.

I don't always agree with him but his speeches in the Commons are always worth listening to as he's very even handed in his approach and refrains from party political attacks.

I hope that Leanne Wood refers to the old wifie as Mrs Windsor again.

On that note, how the feck do the BBC justify paying Nicholas Witchell a salary when he's nothing other than a PR man for the Saxe-Coburg-Gothas?

It's also very cringeworthy.

PS, Aren't we actually paying for it too ?

Someone needs to point out to Ashdown that whoever interrupts the most and shouts the loudest is not the factor that decides who is right

Ashdown is doing the Remain side no good with his pomposity.

An Independent Scotland would resemble a war torn Bosnia per Ashdown

Now saying Brexit will now result in Russian invasion

Wetherspoons guy seems very good...he's done well promoting craft beers and making an affordable pub chain....

I'm still on the fence on EU but Ashdown certainly makes the stay in campaign look dreadful. ..and Osborne's disgraceful scare mongering also sways me to vote leave...and likewise Cameron getting Obama to once again interfere with oir democracy. ..if Obama thinks the EU is so good why doesn't he get USA to join it?? Of course he never would so he is being a pure hypocrite. And I wish Leanne Wood would literally let her hair down for a change..just a personal preference for long hair :)

Oh and I was once again disgusted by Ashdown and Kinnock gleefully appearing alongside Cameron this week...
