kmcca5
McArthur and Robertson both non starters today due to injury and Steven Fletcher has just been subbed off due to injury. :-(
Caledonian Craig
To be fair I won't start cacking myself until a lot nearer the time. But if these were longish-term injuries then we wouldn't miss McArthur a great deal though Robertson would be a miss as would Fletcher. runningtings
McArthur has been shite for Scotland so no loss. Robertson would be a miss, hopefully just a minor thing, and not the end of the world not to have Fletcher, Naismith would play CF in that case. deecie
I've got a light injury from the Ireland game and won't be making the England one.
alaninalba
The Ireland game is no time to experiment with new full backs, that said Bardsley isn't exactly new and Strachan has already shown by playing Whittaker against Poland that he'll make changes if required so Hutton might not be a shoe in for right back. Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
Bit worrying that 3 probably starters and a player who would likely make appearance off bench have injuries. That said, Hoolahan and Whelan are out the game for Ireland and Keane missed LA Galaxy's last game with injury.
ErsatzThistle
Steven Fletcher having an X-Ray today on his ankle. Fingers crossed everything's ok. Steve Bruce said before Hull's game at the weekend that Robertson should be back for their game against Southampton.

ErsatzThistle
It doesnt matter what injuries we have. We will DO them MNYN How many of us said that before games against Georgia and Macedonia in the past ? Look what happened. Someone must know something about Steven Fletcher's injury ? Wonder what we'd do if he's ruled out. Play Naismith up front on his own ? Give Chris Martin and Naismith a try together ? Bring back Jordan Rhodes ? themikedoug
Posted at 11:43 Aston Villa right-back Alan Hutton may miss Scotland's Euro 2016 qualifier against Republic of Ireland on 14 November and the international friendly with England on 18 November. Hutton, 29, who has won 43 Scotland caps, has sprained his ankle in training. "The Scotland games will be touch and go, I know we've got a fortnight roughly to go but it depends how quick a healer he is," says Villa boss Paul Lambert. ErsatzThistle
Whittaker at right back probably then. Outside chance of a call up for Bardsley ?
PASTA Mick
Whittaker at right back probably then. Outside chance of a call up for Bardsley ? Martin at right-back and a return for Gary Caldwell!

Angus_Young
Martin at right-back and a return for Gary Caldwell! Good lord I hope you are kidding with that Whitakker will play at right back. I would personally have Bardsley before him but I have to admit that he had a decent game in Poland. Strachan clearly likes him as a player too
themikedoug
Gus Poyet has told the media that Steven Fletcher is "completely recovered" and training ahead of Monday night's game at Crystal Palace. Fletcher was forced off early in the second half against Arsenal last time out. Good news, still two weekends of games to get through though. Plenty time for some injuries to crop up
