Grumpyauldgit
load of flucking sheet, when celamic knife go blunt, you not get sharpy again,(Contary to popular belife, they do go blunt, when chopping anything harder than a onion). If you want chop food, use real knife like Wusthof Trident, Henckels or Sabs, not flucking cheep clap, however you want chop wood or towel, use saw or scissor, not cheep flucking clap celamic knife, which blake in hand and need many stich to fix. (I had a commis who tried to chop a bit of wood with a Global, (He saw it in some advert), I nearly pished my self laughing when the knife shattered and bust his hand open,( I stopped laughing when I realised he had bled over the carrots, and I had to throw out £3 worth of stock). Do ceramic knives set off metal detectors (nae googlin)? Most will, as the contain some metal, (not a lot but some)
Jimmy`s Lassie
Apparently, for security reasons, there is a thin metal strip through them so it sets off the security alarm at airports - so I've been told
