Dundee Utd are supposed to be pocketing £1,000,000 from that deal too ! I really think Burnley are a club "on the up" and this will be a good move for him. United due ten percent of profit and given they've had £3.6m or so including top-ups for caps and appearances so far (apparently) they're probably only due £600-£700k. It's not a loophole, it's a consequence of QP being amateurs, not paying wages and therefore being tax-exempt.
