Id have thought the idea is to fight the Tories, not create an uber version of them that can't be questioned.

Do you see where i'm going here ? Whether they get the powers or not the intention and priorities are clear It's very clear how he signaled his intentions, there are quotes supporting the article and the SNP have never been shy about where their priorities lie. It's just some seem to take stock in the lie that these corporate measures will benefit the public and decrease inequality.
Och Aye
Genuine question, not having a pop at anyone's views. How do we attract private business to Scotland that provide skilled better paid jobs as opposed to the current situation where most towns non public sector work is provided by supermarkets. Scunnered
Business Bad, Bosses Bad, SNP Bad. Katy Clark Good. You're being silly now. However, I'd agree that any government that puts corporate needs before the public purse is bad, yes. AllyBongo's argument is just bizarre for an independence supporter, effectively that the SNP are safe as long as they are on the Westminster leash and not granted the powers they seek... Unless he's backing their economic plan .

You follow the Chinese model. ALL monopolies are brought under public ownership while the private sector is free to compete over the rest. Employment in the private sector is fully regulated by the government. China has the fastest growing private sector in the world.

When you see the name 'Magnus Gardham' anywhere near a newspaper article it's usually a pretty safe bet that that'll be the gist of it. Seriously? You're using a capitalist Westernised view to judge a socialist country? Seriously? China had a 84% poverty rate 20 years ago, it's now 10%, 6% less than Scotland, 15% less than the UK. However your supposition that an unashamedly pro capital party wouldn't put capital before people is far more dangerous! In my humble opinion. In my humble opinion. Everyone is innocent until they are proven guilty Why would the SNP jeopardize being outed as imposters, losing their 100K+ members AND being voted out of power by doing what you imply ? Labour and Katy Clark doing these things are a lesson from history that the SNP will not repeat Thats not to say they wont have some pro business policies but they will invest in public services at the same time - That is what they want to do (as they have said ad nauseum) but they need either FFA or Independence to achieve it Under Westminster purse strings with limited (and not full) powers they are robbing peter to pay paul with a finger in the dyke at the same time

Quite simply the membership doesn't appear to care. Any wrong doing can be simply explained away by saying "SNPBad" or "LOOK, LOOK WHAT LABOUR DONE!!!".
