LewisEDI
england are due a stumble in qualificaiton, could have been a lot worse, problem could it be it could be so tight for second that the second placed team could end up being the worst second placed team

romanticscot
I am delighted, once I saw our 2nd seed I knew we were/are in with a very positive position. I was hoping for Romania or Portugal but for the first WC group in a while I am not in a depressed mood before a ball has even been kicked. England are better than us but are consistent(in qualifiers) that they will perform well over the rest of our group. We also have some other derbies for Slovakia/Slovenia/Lithuania (Why do we always get them?) that points will be dropped around us. I see us being competitive in this group and thats great. Matches against Malta wont count I expect for the play off's, so it needs to be Lithuania - 6 points Malta - 6 points And as for the rest ENGLAND - 1 point, maybe a home win Slovakia - 4 points preferably, 3 points likely Slovenia - 6 points preferably, 4 points likely And when I say preferably, I mean realisticly. Let the dreaming begin. Edited July 25, 2015 by romanticscot
Maradona10
SFA marketing department will be loving it.... Well picked up on, that's what I was thinking. IF there was a chance of ticket prices being reduced (which I doubted anyway) after all the fuss last time, that is gone now. Scotland v England WORLD CUP QUALIFIER = licence to print money for SFA. As for the draw football wise, I think its pretty good for us.

Toepoke
That rule about no big boys in the 5 team groups is really harsh, almost uncompetitive. All to ensure they have extra games against a Pot 6 rabbit...
