What little unsuspecting Maltese town are we planning on taking over next sept then?

Already taken over buddy.

Sliema, St.Julians, Paceville and Bugibba are the destinations.

If you want a quieter life, go to Mellieha in the north or Marsascala in the south.

Valletta is good for a day out - nothing more.

Do you not live in Silema?

I'm good friends with a Maltese family (based in Marsaskala), was over in February. In terms of Bars St Julian's and Sliema are the place to go. Valletta is around 30 minutes away on public bus. Valletta is a very nice city plent of history to it as well.

The family I am friends with were saying many Maltese people are increasingly more worried about the ISIS threat based on the location and the sea routes to Africa etc.

Looks like Ta' Qali National Stadium in Malta is in the arse end of nowhere.

12km from Valletta.

Hope they have plenty of busses.

I was at the Italy game there last October. Buses are great to get around the island but there are not many buses running at that time of night (especially out at Ta 'Qali), best to arrange a taxi or share a minibus with others.

Got 4 days half board at the Plaza Hotel in Silmina for £350 out of Manchester, which I am happy with.

Some good deals in St Paul's Bay, but felt it would be a bit away from the action on match day.

Definitely flying out from Glasgow on 30th. Hotel or villa depending onnumbers in silmina more than likely book this week.

As an idea for others jet two from Newcastle on the first coming in at around 400pp for a week all inclusive. Decent if youropen to alternative airports.
