Marky
Was in the local pub in Guernsey last night and was speaking to a regular called Peter Head. Apparently he has been in Peterhead once when wee lad in 1959 but said he has supported the footie team since then for obvious reasons. He is from South England but has lived in Guernsey for many years. He apparently joined the supporters club recently and someone local picked up on it and now he has been invited to be a guest at a home game.waiting to find out when will that be. Great story but got me thinking of any other football clubs could be people's names. Couldn't think of any apart from Keith but I am looking for both christian and surname Was telling him about TA. Would be good if some lads could make the game he actually attends. Peter Head gets applauded onto Peterhead pitch! Apparently Peter has a few relatives in Guernsey called Richard! sbcmfc
Douglas Park (the guy) used to stay just along the road from Douglas Park (the stadium). I think the guy who owns the Indian restaurant next to his garage (and the pub across the road) is called Accie. (Although it may be an ill advised use of rhyming slang that he's embraced?)
