Rossy
Good luck to them (and Wales). Just shows what an utter f*ck up we've made of things tonight. It'll be hard to claim that 'we've improved', if we don't qualify.

Most Catholic folk in NI support the team.... Some support the ROI..... Each to their own, I say!
weekevie04
Seriously, Na h-airds. Why don't they change the anthem? Wales and Scotland have anthems. I know there's a campaign, but how serious is it? Yet you moan about catholic or republican players choosing Ireland? Yet, still go with GSTQ. Totally agree..... we need to change it to Danny Boy or something new..... GSTQ is a dirge, imo...... I do moan about some of our players choosing the ROI over NI, but I think most football fans like a moan, while its all legal and above board, it also puts us at a disadvantage that other countries don't face! The FAI don't reach out to protestant players in their recruitment drive in NI.... IFA take from both communities regardless of religion. Which shows the IFA is all inclusive! Fair point, Scotland got a group of death But honestly thought wee had also, didn't fancy our chances of a top three against, Finland, Greece, Romania or Hungary! Toepoke
Agree but their group is nowhere near as difficult as ours. Same with Wales. I don't think we can make that argument after losing in Georgia. NI and Wales have gone away to places like Hungary, Greece, Israel and Cyprus and won...
