Craig Fae Hamilton
Strachan must stay! We have improved hand over fist, and, ended up unlucky not to be in the play offs. I couldn't make tonight but go to most Home and Away games, Strachan is the man for me!
hunchy
My only criticism of him is his seeming lack of a plan b. Yes I think he should stay as he has raised our game and we are far closer than we have been usually
Hertsscot
Still find it difficult that the likes of McCormack and Adam (for all his limitations) are not even in the squad. You need players who can provide something out of the ordinary. We've also been unlucky with injury with possibly our best player Snodgrass being out for the whole tournament. stewarty66
Weve been shite since the Dublin game. Christ we even let Gibraltar score at Hampden. If Levein had overseen this there would be a riot. Time for Strachan to go. He is too stubborn and too loyal to under performers

stewarty66
And replace him with?We have almost a year before 2018 qualifiers. Plenty time for the SFA to sound someone out. But they are incapable so God knows. Time for another foreign manager. Berti never worked but Im prepared to give another non Scot a chance
stirlish
He has done what was expected by SFA, we were 4th seed and finish 4th in group. So he will get a new contract.
stewarty66
The problem any manager will have is a lot of our players aren't good enough technically. Poland looked a class apart from us tonight. It was only our spirit and determination that kept us going.

It was only our spirit and determination that kept us going. Well dont try and play a technical brand of football. Play the most energetic team you can put on park, play a LB instead of forcing in favourites like Mulgrew or Whitaker as they are decent on ball. Play a proper sitting DM every game instead of Morrison and Brown in together. If Strachan doesnt have the technical players then try to play another way. That doesnt mean booting it long but play quick football and try to out run and out fight the opposition.

kumnio
I'm not sure, we have been poor all 2015, if he stays then fine, but he has to improve, if he leaves, I'm not sure it's a big loss.

Certainly something changed, first few games under WGS we were more on the front foot, believing in ourselves, crisper passing, better movement. It's been very stale for a while. Berti never worked but Im prepared to give another non Scot a chance The fear is that McGhee or someone equally uninspiring gets it. Unless we had a ready made better replacement then I'd keep Strachan Edited October 8, 2015 by ParisInAKilt
Craig Fae Hamilton
Why unlucky? We are seven points behind Ireland. We were in the play offs (Gibraltar to beat), with Ireland drawing 0-0 at 70 minutes, we were 20 mins away from a play off spot??? In a group with Germany, Ireland and Poland, that is not an absolutely disasterous position to have been in.
jock strap
Alex Neil. Why ? WTF has he done ? Dinna get me wrong, potential in years to come but not ready to have the pressure of a country bestowed on him.
Armchair Bob
Very disappointing end to the group. Georgia away was the biggest kick in the guts. And who would have seen Ireland beating Germany. Fair play to them, 4 points against the world champions, they deserve to be in the mix. Strachan for me for the next campaign. Can't see anybody else doing better right now.
