Donaldo87
So no tickets go to the the SPL clubs or say a local amateur league in the highlands. And no tickets to the various sponsors of the SFA? What about SFA council members, do they also have to join the SSC and apply with other fans? Its in the UEFA / FIFA guidelines (I think) that the home team has to give the visiting association a certain number of category 1 seats. Pretty sure this is where the big wigs sit and sponsor seats are etc. I'm sure a few away end tickets dont make it to the SSC but nothing like the percentages you know. Unless you know a player or win a competition the only way to get tickers for the away end is being a member of the SSC (or buy from a member of the SSC but thats another argument)

Anya brother has been in the Scotland end at a couple of games, and at the Czech game in 2010 Jamie Mackie entire family (parents, brothers, sisters, Uncles, cousins etc) were all in the Scotland end, so players do get the option of tickets (but unsure of him many times players take up on this option, and think any left over's get sold on to the fans) Edited December 21, 2015 by wanderer
Ormond
Can anyone remember when the packs started popping through letter boxes two years ago? Was it January for those already renewed or had we all to wait until after February?

wanderer
Do they not usually wait until the early bird offer is over so they have enough orders in to buy in bulk the shirts that they send out with your membership?

Rich NATA
Can anyone remember when the packs started popping through letter boxes two years ago? Was it January for those already renewed or had we all to wait until after February? Was the previous SSC pack the one with scarf? If it was, we certainly didn't get the pack in January. I clearly remember receiving the scarf just after spring had sprung and thought, 'won't be needing this until next winter'.
Debian
After speaking on the telephone with a member of staff at the SSC early January, I was assured the prices would be released before christmas. I subsequently called yesterday to be advised that I was to 'Stop Pestering' for this information, and that if I called again (yesterday was my 2nd call in 3 weeks) I would not have my renewal processed. All I can say to the watching SSC Staff Members, I hope your Turkey is still frozen come the Queens Speech on Friday.

The one with the t-shirt was the last one (scarf maybe the one before that). I got my last pack in mid-Feb.

tartanmartin
Do they not usually wait until the early bird offer is over so they have enough orders in to buy in bulk the shirts that they send out with your membership? according to the SFA/ATAC minutes the SFA have already had a "significant outlay invested in the production of items". not sure how they can do this before they know a) how many renewals they'll get and what sizes of polo shirts will be required. scottincarlisle
You would think the postage would be included in the £45.
