Things To Do In Glasgow

Recommended Posts

Instead of giving the kids presents this year my wife and I are treating the kids to a weekend in Glasgow in early Jan,the wife seems to think they will be shopping for clothes etc but I think otherwise....any ideas on how to fill the weekend ?

FYI their ages are 27,24,20 and 18....and all male...and unattached....

Pub crawl up Bath Street then over to finish at the top end of Sauchiehall Street.

youngest is at uni in edinburgh, wife insists on "popping down" frequently to check he's ok/do his washing/feed him cos he's spent his money on "other things" so I'm sick of the place and its full of bloody tourists....

If they like there football why not take them to Hampden and do the tour and museum. There is also the transport museum but don't know what it's like now as its been years since I've been plus they moved it from next to kelvin hall

Decent way to spend a morning maybe, before moving onto something more energetic or a pub crawl...

IIRC the tour is about an hour, and you can spend as long as you like in the museum.

(Insert facepalm emoji)

Subcrawl as in getting on the subway and getting off at each stop and going for a drink at each station

might be showing my ignorance here, but I dont think Ive been on the subway in glasgow unless the train to hampden is the subway,I know there is a map somewhere showing a circle line type thing is that what you mean ?
