Brummie Hibs Posted December 22, 2015 Share Posted December 22, 2015 Looking at spending some time there next June.Will probably spend a day each in Baden-Baden and Freiburg, but has anybody got any suggestions of small towns/villages in the forest to stay and any decent hiking walks to go on? We stayed here last May which was just brilliant http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g1142455-d1849118-Reviews-Die_Reichsstadt-Gengenbach_Baden_Wurttemberg.html Also did Heidelburg and Frieiburg both of which I thoroughly enjoyed and went to see Freiburg v Paderborn relegation battle and paid €12 for my ticket which at the time worked out at £9. Great game, good football, great supporters mixing having a beer and a proper old school ground. On the same day Berwick played Arbroath and my mate paid £13 to watch utter keech.
