To be fair to Doncaster, the Scotland national team is hee haw to do with him so our failure to qualify is not down to him in the slightest. However, he SHOULD have been hounded out for standing up and shouting out to the world that our domestic game (I paraphrase here but you get the gist) "will be utter pish if Rangers don't get voted back in the SPL" and then proceeded to fail to secure a league sponsor for the best part of two years. That alone (ignoring his gross incompetence at running the professional leagues in Scotland) should've been an immediate sacking offence.
