Managers with all the money in the world at their disposal to buy the best players in the world are up for coach of the year(except the Chile boy)

Must be hard coming up with that list

It's voted for I believe m8. Well certainly the final.result is, not sure about the shortlist. Every manager and captain from teams within Fifa, as well as a journalist from each country pick their top 3 players and manager. It's a points system from there.

They usually release who voted for who, which is unusually transparent for those swines.

Messi and Ronaldo never vote for each other interestingly.

Brown voted Lewandowski, Ronaldo, Muller

Strachan voted Ronaldo, Muller, Messi

Noting that both are maybe trying to justify Scotland's failings in our Euro qualifications with their picks of a German and a Pole. How Scott Brown can think that Messi isn't in the top three players on the planet is laughable.

Agreed. No surprise that he didn't pick Neymar, and I personally would have had Lewandowski too.

Muller is a top top player, but ahead of Messi? Na not quite.

Brown is trying to justify his shite perfomances by saying he was up against two of the best three on the planet. That's all.

Messi is a worthy winner but when players are voting for their team mates it makes a mockery of it.

To be fair to Messi, his team won 4 out of 5 competitions they entered including the champions league and world championship (for whats its worth). So he could reasonably suggest that his best teammates are the best players in the world.

If he was at say Man Utd and voting for his own team mates I'd see you point.

I was thinking more of Ronaldo thinking Bale and Benzema had a better 2015 than Messi. Again Coleman and Ashley Williams thinking Bale is the best in the world, sure they are welsh and work with Bale a lot but surely hand on heart they can't really believe Bale was better than Messi in 2015.

Given that Bale single handedly took Wales to the Euros I think Coleman and Williams can be forgiven for voting with Red tinted specs!!
