Rory
Holding off booking anything until all fixtures are confirmed for that week by SFA, as always though we are the last to be notified of matches being confirmed !

irnbruman
Have to wait and see of any other matches around that week ..otherwise I'll just walk across the road to the Newcastle -Amsterdam ferry, train down to Metz. Back on train , Eurostar train.
Dalgety Bay TA
Can't even book the return flight in case there's a match after the one in Metz There is unlikely to be a match after Metz as the Euro's start 6 days later. Its more likely, as per the rumours that have been going about, that there will be a game or games before we play France. However this will be why the SFA were not wanting to announce anything until they have all their plans tied up and ready to announce. Dalgety Bay TA
I know train tickets won't be on sale for about another month but been struggling to get any idea of costs from the SNCF site today which seems to not want to bring up any trains between Paris and Metz no matter what dates selected. Bahn.de confirms an almost hourly TGV service which takes 80 odd minutes.

BlueBonnetsowertheBorder
Where do I look for the cheapest flights to Paris for the French game ? Try Luxembourg or Frankfurt Hahn (Direct Flights from Edinburgh as far as I know) both a lot closer than paris!

tumsh
anyone any ideas of train prices between Paris and Metz? Had a wee look earlier but seemed to be over £130 return, expected cheaper than that
ironbrew
Andy Murray will hopefully be winning his first French Open in Paris day after Metz game. I`ve never been to Roland Garros but have been in Paris ay same time and seem to remember hotels being more expensive during tournament. laurataylordu
anyone any ideas of train prices between Paris and Metz? Had a wee look earlier but seemed to be over £130 return, expected cheaper than that I found a website that said they were not out yet. Price was not £130. That maybe be an advance special fayre? Its a general train journey so shoudnt be that crazy I don't think. Said every 30 mins or something like that. One over 2 hours and one under depending on stops Im sure.
