Having long been a TA foot-soldier I always found myself and mates angry at the increased presence of touts surrounding football. I have been working on an app to counter this which I hope will make the process of swapping tickets easier in future! At Ticketal, we wanted to create a safe and ethical environment for exchanging unwanted or unneeded tickets. One where we do the searching so you don't have to, one where tickets will never be sold or exchanged for more than face value and one that is accessible in the palm of your hand wherever and whenever you need. We aim to be live to cater for the 1m balloted Euro 2016 tickets that are currently in circulation - sure some of us bought them in that ballot - however we will also offer services to every other major sporting event from Premier League football, the Olympics and Wimbledon to name a few. Or get paid? nice idea though. Tickets can be swapped or sent through servers if e-tickets which is preferred option. It will be incredibly safe. Don't know if you have used AirBNB before however we are using a similar security system to them. Users will be asked to either scan a passport or debit/credit card with their phone camera to authenticate their profile. There will also be a 5* user rating system to allow users to rate one another after each transaction. All financial transactions be it a straight sale or difference in price for swaps will be carried out within the app also through the use of PayPal.
