Frazerbob
Off to Tallinn next week for a couple of days. I've been a few tmes before but generally just for football & gigs and on the bevvy. Taking the wife his time so planning to see some sights other than pubs. Last time I was there was 2006 so any pub tips from folk who have been more recently? Also any touristy stuff we should see? captain
We're away to Tallinn in 2 weeks for the Hearts game. Can anyone help with stuff to do, how to get to stadium etc? Is a ferry to Helsinki for the day worth the trip?
they've_been_suckered
Helsinki ferry trip for the day is worth it if you can spare an entire day. Hell Hunt food is good food and worth going to Beer House (micro brewery/pub) just off the main square. Avoid Olde Hansa!
DoonTheSlope
Any info appreciated here too. I'm planning on spending some time in the Baltics while travelling later this year. Is there a ferry to St Petersburg and if so is it worth it?
macy37
Enjoy it, it is beautiful. Such a small centre so you can get around easy. It isn't cheap which kind of surprised me but more like a UK city priced place.
