biffer
Was the UEFA Cup final 2008 according to this new interactive map http://battles.nodegoat.net/viewer.p/23/385/scenario/1/geo/fullscreen Interesting map though, aside from that!
Armchair Bob
Quite a lot of battles missing. Just looking at one wee bit of the map, the first recorded naval battle in Britain off Dalriada in 719. The battle of Bloody Bay off Mull. The Battle of Epiphany off Islay between Somerled and Godred for control of Man and the Hebrides. The Battle of Renfrew where Somerled died. The Norse attack on Dumbarton in 870. The Norse attack on Rothesay castle in 1230 and the royalist attack on Inveraray in 1644. The various battles between Macleod and Macdonald on Skye, etc. As a first attempt though it's a cracking map.
Ormond
Strange that Fir Park with Moshni isn't mentioned.

peever1745
One of the main battles in Scotland has been missed also. The Battle of Dunnichen fought between the Picts and the Northunbrians in 685. This battle pushed the Northunbrians all the way back home.

I'd add the Battle of Loudoun Hill from 1307, a famous event doon Ershur way. 15 hours ago, stocky said: Aye, might never have been a Scotland if that one had gone the other way..... I'd have thought the Tottenham riots might have made the cut. A police dug biting some fat arseholes can't really be construed as a battle!
