Parklife
Some utterly baffling selections/omissions but what's new?
captain
I'm sure he knows what he is doing. Was expecting 2 entirely different squads, let's hope he is not trying to be too clever.
wanderer
Both squads are pretty good, but also both really do highlight how weak we are at the back

JECK
Maybe trying to be favourable to some clubs by not over using towards league run ins. Or trying to create competition?Odd to see Griffiths in one squad to say the least
ErsatzThistle
Good to see Snoddy and Bannan back in. Well done to Scott Bain too, I think he's a good goalie for Dundee and genuinely worth a try out. Pity James McArthur and Callum Paterson are out injured. Sheach
The 21's have qualifiers that week. Have to assume that is why there is no Cummings, Nicholson or Walker. Makes sense for Strachan to get a closer look at players who are over-age for the 21's this time. Delighted to see McGinn called up. Liam Cooper has played a lot for Leeds this season. Absolutely gutted for Callum Paterson missing out, surely his time will come at the end of season matches.
runningtings
I'd just take the second squad as being an indication of anything, add in Robertson, Snoddy, Fletcher, Naisy and thats the squad for the future.
dandydunn
A paranoid man would ask why only 1 Tim is going to Prague. That's not me though........

wee-toon-red
Same old story, doesn't seem to matter who the manager is. Guy playing consistently well over 2-3 seasons, even captaining his team to a trophy, gets left out for the latest Celtic five minute wonder. clarky1606
Picking Tierney over Shinnie is a joke. I have nothing against Tierney and he will be a Scotland regular at some point but Shinnie deserves the chance more! Why is Mulgrew even near the squad. How many minutes has he played since he got back from his injury lay off? James Forrest - He must have an embarrassing sex tape of Strachan and is holding him at ransom No Rhodes or McCormack either is baffling. Donaldo87
Somewhere Tartan Tammy 1314 (think that was his name) is dancing a jig at Jamie Murphy being called up

Tierney, Forrest and Mulgrew do not deserve to be in either squad. Shinnie's omission is a joke.

runningtings
Gordon Greer being in twice is a strange one, he's done OK for us, but he isn't exactly one for the future.
