ELP - Fanfare for the Common Man was the theme tune for the scottish news, maybe reporting scotland?

I only vaguely remember it so it must have been late 70's, early 80's.

Could be what I got mixed up with.

i am far from being a Hibbie, as are most

However, SUNSHINE ON LEITH is magnificent

and unique to Scotland

could we not change a wee word or twa to make it a Scotland Song instead of a Hibbie Song;;

What words would you like changed?

Hibernian fc aren't mentioned

dont know, just a word of two to make in more of a Scotland Song .

At the moment its a Hibs song.

While I'm worth my room on this earth
I will be with you
While the Chief, puts sunshine on Leith
I'll thank Him for His work
And your birth and my birth.

Whatabout

While your worth the room on our Pitch

We will be with you   - or - (we will follow you)

While the team , puts sunshine on Hampden

We'll Thank them for their work

and for Law and Dalgliesh  - or -  (and for Faddy and Broon)

Hey i cannae write lyrics..

as you can see...

But we can add some Scotland things to a great tune..

Sits back and waits for pelters.......;)
