The crapness of the defending in that clip made the 'turn' a lot more famous than it really should have!

The reason they always cut the clip short is because he follows it up with a terrible cross.

RIP to a true legend however.

Arguably the greatest ever European player if not the World's

His legacy of how team football is played is far more reaching than any other player's

Incredible he was a smoker. I assume he smoked during his career as who the hell takes it up in their 30's.

Yep he was smoker since he was young - 20 a day while he was playing

Probably the greatest advertisement ever for the tobacco companies !

Other famous puffers

Jackie Milburn - think most players in the 50s smoked

Jack Charlton

Ossie Ardiles - smoked 40 a day when he was playing !

Socrates - also 2 packets a day

Gianlucca Vialli

Fabien Barthez

Zinedine Zidane - the odd fly one now and then

and many more

smoking can actually help fitness in the short term. Well some of the chemicals in the fag can, as opposed to smoking anything.

My mate once sat in a bar next to a chain smoking Francesco Totti, and he's still playing at nearly 40!
