So how many are genuinely unable to play? Also is having a couple of keepers injured and having to play a youth worse than having 9 outfield players out and having to play a number of teenagers? Did Raith Rivers not have a keeper crisis back when we were in the first division and had to register a coach to play as they had no one else and he was well into his 40's? our goalkeeper coach had the bug and was unable to play, we only had 1 recognised goalkeeper is it not an SPFL rule that you need a recognised goalkeeper as one of your 7 subs? I heard Neilson say they had a total of 17 unavailable. the development league game against Dundee on Monday was cancelled during the warm up and they were sent up to Inverness to try and make up a team

Personally don't see the big deal with all of it. Seems genuine enough. Maybe I'm too trusting?

Parklife
Quote http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35984162 All of the Hearts players struck by the illness that led to the postponement of Tuesday's match in Inverness have reported for Thursday's training. A bout of gastroenteritis left the Edinburgh club with "few fit players", with the game rescheduled for 12 April. Aberdeen, 12 points ahead of third-placed Hearts, visit Tynecastle on Friday evening. "The players are over the illness and they're ready to go," head coach Robbie Neilson told BBC Scotland. "They've taken a couple of days, as expected. "It was a 24 to 48 hour thing and when they run out tomorrow under the floodlights in front of a full house there will be no issue about energy." I'm going to be straight and say that Hearts are cheating khunts.

sbcmfc
I suppose Neilson isn't going to say they're all running at 80% and will be dead on their feet by 70 minutes either. Would be pretty amazing if everybody was back to 100%

Rossy
As it turns out, we were neither paranoid or cynical. Just correct. Smacks of cowardice from Hearts. Running scared.

There was no real benefit to us calling the game off, we are going to finish third no matter what and a it has done is left us with a fairly big hotel and transport bill. sbcmfc
This is a much bigger game for Aberdeen than Hearts. Come to think of it, surely Hearts are the last team you'd expect to bend over backwards to help Celtic win the title? I really can't see how this game matters to Hearts?
