The entire Scottish football media wheelin out dalglish, souness and various"old firm legends" to spout its the biggest/best derby in world football is even more cringe worthy if anything

Sky Sports are absolutely creaming themselves this week and the prospect of more games next season will drive them into a complete jizzfest.

Goodness knows how Jim White in particular will cope.

Not half as excited as Ian Crocker will be.

Why not have a drink everytime he uses one of his stock phrases........

"In this city your either a Celt or a Ger"

"Giants collide"

"Clash of the Titans"

"Listen to this cauldron of noise"

"These gladiators will fight it out"

"Derby day in Glasgow is always special"

"This is a huge moment"

Any I missed out ?

He'll be close to meltdown by Sunday morning.

I've had a few days off this week and watched a lot of background TV with SSN.

They even sent one of their main reports to Glasgow for 2 days at Murray Park, Celtic Park etc to spend hours talking about it, interviewing players, managers, Tom, Dick & Harry.

All the old OF players and managers also get wheeled out after 4 years of muffled voices.

This is Armageddon to me.

A goal scored normally means he utters something along the lines of "this is amazing...this is spectaular"

This and Wally just fuelled the hoards with his comments or are season tickets due renewal

After 4 years in the lower leagues we don't need Sir Walter rolled out to sell season tickets. They'll sell out and still have a waiting list.

Unsurprising really, everybody is desperate to see the Famous.

Do BT sports have all setantas history? They're the same number on my box, same presenters, same content....

Which kind of disproves Burleys point. If no one other than OF fans were interested then Sky wouldn't bother either. They are only going to spend cash on things that bring in advertising or subscriptions.

On Sky sports news the other day you would swear they were talking about the end of a fragile ceasefire in some brutal conflict, with full scale war about to recommence

"hostilities are resumed"

"blood and guts"

"no quarter given"
