weekevie04
Remain will hammer it home. It'll end up just shy of 60% remain - 58-42.

thplinth
Today is probably the last day of my interest in UK politics for a while. Assuming it is Stay (bookies now 1/7 on and 7/1 against) then that is both referendums lost and staring down the barrel of 10 plus years of tory rule. And it will be extra nasty once this gets settled today.. The SNP can't do shit despite sweeping the board (really does demonstrate how we are effectively powerless in the larger sea of English MPs, even if we vote for one party only near enough, which we did, they are still impotent) and will eventually get trapped in some mistake long before they ever get close to a new referendum. Corbyn will waste a lot of time like Kinnock did and make it easy for them to hold power. Labour party look to be descending into civil war more than anything else. I feel a deep political malaise developing. Thank God I have the Trump show to keep me going for a bit longer. Once Clinton gets in that is the full set. We are fecked. neilser
The Mash is hitting its targets Quote THE referendum ballot paper includes an option for voters whose priority is not upsetting their friends, officials have explained. Voters can ignore the ‘Remain’ and ‘Leave’ boxes and simply put a cross next to ‘How my friends voted’ if they just want to fit in and not risk losing popularity http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/politics/politics-headlines/referendum-includes-what-your-mates-think-option-20160623109725 Quote A RACIST nan who is fuelled entirely by hate has began her slow and unsteady journey to the polling station. 89-year-old Mary Fisher confirmed plans to get herself down to the local community centre and cast her vote against foreigners, even if it took half an hour just to get her coat on. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/racist-nan-definitely-going-to-bother-20160623109718 Quote Britain in historic vote that only a handful of twats wanted in the first place 23-06-16 BRITAIN faces a tumultuous decision today because of a relatively small number of annoying, obsessive twats, experts have confirmed. The country will vote on whether to remain in the European Union thanks to the weirdest members of the Conservative Party and a man who sounds like an angry duck and looks like a monkey had sex with a trout. Professor Henry Brubaker, of the Institute for Studies, said: “Like me, you were probably minding your own business and managing not to think about the EU because it’s so utterly fecking tedious. “If you did ever think about it then it would probably have been along the lines of ‘it’s a bureaucracy and they tend not to be perfect, but I realise I have to accept that because I’m not a child’. “But then some right wing oddballs decide to inflict their pathetic neuroses and tawdry power struggles on the rest of us, and so now we all hate each other more than ever. Spiffing.” He added: “ Feck Britain.” http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/politics/politics-headlines/britain-in-historic-vote-that-only-a-handful-of-twats-wanted-in-the-first-place-20160623109722 Edited June 23, 2016 by neilser feck

86glebestreet
I had a postal vote but decided to drop it at polling station today, all they done was open a box and drop it in, I asked if that was secure and all they said was someone comes for the box every few hours, surely it should have been put in a secure box, anyone know if that is the way it gets done
