If only the people "in the know" were not sworn to secrecy

I hope that's not sarcasm? You shouldn't be making jokes, don't you know that the lives of Slasher's kids are at stake here?!?!

We should probably close this thread until after the new manager is announced just to keep the kids safe.

It seems the sensible thing to do.

Left Reading in December. Just curious as his odds have moved in a bit.

Maybe slasher stuck the college fund on it

You could be right there. He certainly wouldn't be the worst appointment.

Every name has been mentioned.

gary Caldwell and Steve Evans the most frightening.

Every name that has been linked with is frightening. McKay, Lennon, Keane, Martin O'Neill, Michael O'Neill, Lambert, Stubbs all fill me with dread.

Moyes would be interesting. A manager who only seems to know how to get teams to sit in and hit on the break. Might give Celtic a chance at Pittodrie next season right enough......

His teams don't play on the break, they just bore you into submission. He's a born loser as well and strikes me as a yes man, exactly what Lawell is after.

I'm not suggesting that Gary Caldwell should get - or should even be considered for - the Celtic job but he's doing really well at Wigan. It'll be interesting to see how his career develops over the next few years.

I thought the rumour was that Lawell was leaving too?
