doonhameronthedon
Bosphorus cruise will take a day. The mosques, the spice market, the bazaar, the cisterns? Which opposite the hadj Sofia. You'll struggle to see all you want. Enjoy.

Mox
As above poster mentioned, plus a little wander down the harbour which is just up from the bazaar. The food is incredible as well, whether it's a just a small restaurant/cafe off Taksim Square or a little more upmarket, it's all brilliant, fresh and cheap. We eat at a restaurant called Neolokal (http://www.neolokal.com/?/en) which was outrageously good. There was 13 of us over for the Celtic game in December, numerous bottles a wine, a few had the tasting menu and it worked out about £45 each which we couldn't believe given the standard of the food and how much we had. Just off Taksim Square theres a street called Istikal Avenue and there are plenty of little streets and avenues which run off it with little hidden restaurants and cafes and you can get a pint no problem. As mentioned above, it's far too big to even scratch the surface but it is a city in which I couldn't comprehend how vast, interesting and beautiful it was, you'll have a grand time.
