My abiding memory of the beer situation was the queue by the sign that said "bar" was about 6,000 long, but the hotdog guy with a cooler box was wondering about offering it to anybody with a spare hand. Fosters is pish.

Fosters is pish. Unfortunately true! I thought it was Calsberg they said on sale? That could be the drink talking though. It was a long afternoon in the sun at Trafalgar Square before the game!! (I managed to resist the temptation of going into the fountains to cool down - probably had something to do with the fact people were openly pishing in them) nothing better than finding a trick barely anyone has noticed. Especially when beer is involved

We were £7.00 for a Peroni in the Byron burger bar just round the corner from Trafalgar square so £5.00 inside the ground wasn't too bad
