Theres been a few. Some of the worst were under John Greig.

I was at a 2-2 game at Ibrox when there was only about 6000 at the game.

Players like Gregor Stevens and John McLelland were the staples.

We were woeful. It's just lucky everyone else was as bad or worse.

Nothing wrong with John McClelland.

Well he was 36/37 when he went to St Johnstone and was a player/manager which, in my opinion, is never a great idea.

A lot of fans were unhappy at the shocking way Totten(who was loved) was booted as manager for McLelland to get the gig. It looked as sneaky as feck and there was big rumours that McLelland had a hand in dirty play with the Totten saga.

Aberdeen have apparently agreed a loan deal for Gregg Stewart. Also signed Kyle Turner from Stranraer (who'll be loaned back for to Stranraer for the season).

Hibs turn dowm £1million bid from Ipswich for John McGinn.

I believe St Mirren are entitled to 33% of any sell on profit, Hibs signed him from us for an undisclosed fee, I believe it was only around £150K, so hopefully you will sell him for more than a million.

That would be a nice little windfall for us.

You got the same deal with McLean?

Was going to say that, certainly one of the better players for Rangers in that era, definitely not in the Gregor Stevens/Hugh Burns category.

Anyone remember Davie Mitchell or Andy Kennedy, neither of those were great either although they were cheap compared to some of the later acquistions.
