TartanDave
Seen on twitter there the squad will be announced tomorrow at 11, not seen a lot of talk on here so thought I'd start a thread on what I hope we will see, Craig Gordon (Celtic) David Marshall (Cardiff) *Allan McGregor (Hull)* * If Hull make play off final, Bain would probably come in for McGregor. Callum Paterson (Hearts) any other right backs? Really don't want to see Hutton but we will. Russell Martin (Norwich) Grant Hanley (Blackburn) Christophe Berra (Ipswich) Another centre back? Not sure who. *Andrew Robertson (Hull)* Kieren Tierney (Celtic) *If Hull make play off final Shinnie would come in. *Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday)* James McArthur (Crystal Palace) Darren Fletcher (West Brom) John McGinn (Hibs) James Morrison (West Brom) Another centre midfielder? I'd imagine Strachan will call up both of Mulgrew and Brown. Bannan's inclusion depends on play off's. Barrie McKay (Rangers) Been excellent lately and I think he deserves a call up, aware that others won't. Matt Ritchie (Bournemouth) Ikechi Anya (Watford) *Robert Snodgrass (Hull)* *Snodgrass another who could be in play off final, Jamie Murphy, Oli Burke, James Forrest would probably be in Strachans mind for replacements. Ross McCormack (Fulham) Leigh Griffiths (Celtic) Steven Fletcher (Marseille) Jordan Rhodes (Middlesbrough) My starting line up if all these players were available, including those in play off would be, Gordon Paterson Hanley Martin Robertson McArthur Fletcher Bannan Snodgrass Anya Fletcher Thoughts? Fairbairn
I've got a feeling we'll see call ups for Wallace and McKay, Wallace in particular if Robertson can't make the squad.
deecie
How uninspiring. I checked into my flights to Malta at lunch.
ErsatzThistle
I'd put Oliver Burke in the squad again. We could do with his pace and strength. Playing against Italy and France at his age would be a good experience for him. It's also time to give Liam Cooper his debut and see what he can do. Good to have McArthur back. aaid
McGinn won't be in the squad - at least not for the game in Malta - as it clashes with the play-off final. Edited May 11, 2016 by aaid

I like your first 11 although I have doubts about Craig Gordon. I'd like to see more of McCormack and Watt although I think the latter is still injured. aaid
Interesting the way that Strachan announced the squad but if Hibs get through against Falkirk he won't be in Malta, which was my point. FWIW, I think he's well worth his place in the squad.
ProudScot
Scotland squad: Goalkeepers Scott Bain, David Marshall, Allan McGregor Defenders Christophe Berra, Gordon Greer, Grant Hanley, Alan Hutton, Russell Martin, Charlie Mulgrew, Callum Paterson, Andrew Robertson, Lee Wallace Midfielders Ikechi Anya, Barry Bannan, Oliver Burke, Darren Fletcher, Shaun Maloney, James McArthur, John McGinn, Barry McKay, Matt Phillips, Matt Ritchie, Robert Snodgrass Forwards Steven Fletcher, Chris Martin, Ross McCormack, Steven Naismith
captain
More chance of Strachan picking Cecil Rhodes in a Scotland squad. Not even Scottish and died in 1902.

Hopefully Rhodes isn't tempted to sack off international fitbaw. The continual picking of Chris Martin is surprising given his obvious lack of ability to make the step up. I bet the majority of Hull / Derby / Brighton / Hibs players will pull out after being involved in play offs. How many call offs do we expect before the 1st game then folks? I think 6+
