Must be a funny experience going to a cup final with your mates having a laugh and then wake up the next morning to find your face plastered all over the papers showing you kicking a young lad in the head (or try to) and immediately knowing that your whole like is now turned on its head, that you face the sack, jail, your family your friends... and how much planning went into this big change, did you have any inkling what was about to happen to you when you stepped out the door that day? It is madness.

I'm reminded of an interview with Johnny Vaughn, where he said most of his fellow inmates during his time inside were just ordinary guys who'd experienced a few moments of madness...

I didn't realise that the feeling of winning something changed over the years.

Has the feeling of being relegated changed since the last time you went down ?

You are so prickly.  Good question though.  Last time was a shock, a little like watching a car crash from inside the car.  This time was more like a terminal illness.

Personally, no matter how delighted I was that my team had won a trophy, there's almost nothing in God's earth that would make me run down to the bottom of the stand, leap over a barricade and run onto the pitch........never mind break a crossbar, taunt opposition fans or assault a player.

:ok:

I just hope that if its not Hibs that win it next year then a team who's never won it or not won for decades does. Every football fan deserves a weekend like that. Absolutely amazing

Dammit - had a long drive this and realised a better answer would've been :

"Have we been relegated before?  Oh aye, 1995.  So long ago I can barely even remember it, let alone what it felt like."  But too late...

However Adam, we can at least remember winning the Scottish cup.

I've long said that if Dundee United never won the Scottish Cup Final they played in I'd want a team that's never won it , like St Johnstone (against Dundee United) to win, then Hibs (as Dundee are next worst) then couldn't care.

As part of my wind up of Rangers supporting friends at our SC Final party on Saturday I said this but would make an exception this year and hoped Hibs would win over a team that's never won it.

Shortly after the final whistle, I ventured for everyone whose team has won a Scottish Cup to put their hand up. I got an apple chucked at my nads when I think I told one of them to get his hand down.

Off Topic. What the hell is wrong with trying to post on here from a Phone or Tablet? Brutal navigation and random jumps to different places.

I can even remember seeing Aberdeen win the Dryborough cup.

I celebrated it like a Dundee United relegation...

that's the boy that claimed it wasn't him. said he had been mistakenly identified.

He must have swapped tops/clothes cos guy was wearing yellow top.  Don't know what went on but Binnie looked like the guy behind yellow top push guy.

Exactly what I thought when I saw it on the news. The Binnie character looked like he pulled the guy who did shove the goalkeeper away

So he has admitted to running towards the Rangers keeper and gesticulating?  Throw the book at him.

Still waiting to hear about the Kiddy snatcher brought to justice.  Weegie press seem to have omitted any attempt to ask public to bring him to justice.

Why are all these video clips of folk assualting the hun players not being released?

Court process, I would suspect. would explain the removal of certain video from news site over the past days.

Or maybe he has already been lifted? Pretty clear pictures, so i'm sure they know who he is. hopefully anyway.

"Mr Pryde is also accused of breaching the peace by running on to the pitch towards Rangers supporters and brandishing a chair".

Ah celebrating in the traditional manner after a major cup final win

What I cant understand is the group that run past their own players. Surly you'd want to celebrate with them?

Some strange, strange folk in this world.
