sjc1987
Hi Guys and Girls anyone know what the official stance is around non-collected tickets? Stood in a group with around 10 others from around 15minutes before kick off looking for any spare tickets. We were told there were around a dozen tickets still to be collected and had them in envelopes on the desk. Once the game kicked off we were told nothing could be done to sell off these tickets although other tickets had been sold off in the hour before kick off to others that had left contact details with SFA reps earlier in the day. Given plane/train strikes was always likely tickets would not be collected. Seemed to go from an accommodating atmosphere where they took peoples details to let them know if there was tickets available to a very closed and "we wont be giving you a point for this" atmosphere very quickly. not sure if something had been said that triggered this but when there are tickets not collected and people there that could use the tickets seems mad not to. Think someone turning up at the away end offering tickets for the away end as his mate was sat in the pub and couldnt be bothered going to the game triggered a bit of the frustrating atmosphere but as SFA reps told us unless they knew he he was nothing could be done. deecie
I think the standard punishment is to be forced to watch a re-run of the game.
iainmac1
I've got a picture of all these guys screaming that the guy in the pub shouldn't get a point. Oh the injustice
scottincarlisle
Its always been the case that uncollected tickets are not re-sold unless the member has told SFA/SSC they can't go. If you were running late & got to the ground 1 min before KO you'd be pretty pissed off to find your ticket had gone.
Dunty
If you turn up without a ticket, and the SSC sell you one from the tickets that haven't been collected, do you get a point?

For people who have had to buy tickets for the home end, they're entitled to ask why they don't get a point if someone who went without tickets has got one. Also the SSC are essentially encouraging ticketless fans to travel.

You are told not to travel without a guaranteed ticket....so in no way are SSC encouraging you to do so Folks that buy home end tickets do so to see the game in the full knowledge they won't get a point...if you are lucky enough to pick up an uncollected ticket then good on you.....normally only tickets sold on are ones that the SSC have been notified that the purchaser won't be there to collect.... Tartancarper
I was there at the desk in Metz also. I think the main complaint is they kept us hanging around until after kick off before finally telling us there were none. All day prior to that we'd been told "keep trying up until ko". Then no explanation at all, shutters just came down. They took details from some fans that were there earlier but they didn't from our group.
