Angus_Young
Easy Street so far, very much got a pre-season feel to it. East Stirling players were starting to look very tired towards the end of the half. Having seen it back a couple of times, the penalty looks soft. Ormond
Saints 2 up at half time against Falkirk. Three penalties awarded to Saints. I can't remember ever having that many in 90 minutes never mind 45.

If there were 20 shirt pulls inside a box then I'd expect 20 penalties awarded.
Baz
Apparently this year refs have been told to clamp down on holding and pulling on the box and award as many penalties as it takes.

hauniscots
On this occasion he was right though. Each player had a hold of the others shirt, but the angle the referee had meant the other defenders body was hiding it. No penalty.

I actually agree with you about so many Scots caring more about their wee plastic english team than their local Scottish teams but repeating the same thing on every thread (well the last 2 I have looked at in 2 different topics) is just boring

A plausible explanation was given to why there is none of our teams on the box.

Just imagine if St Johnstone had even 1.0% of the Bulls $1billion turnover? That could be enough for them to avoid relegation almost every season.
