I had a 6 hour successful operation on the 1st August and my surgeon just told me I can go to Malta. Just need to calm down on the drinking. Have a six hour layover in Paris on the way out, so will head down to the Auld Alliance on the Friday afternoon for a few, if anyone's about. Friday 2nd - Train across Sicily - Palermo to Catania - night in Catania. Sat 3rd - Fly Catania to Malta. 3 days in Malta. Tues 6th - Malta -Rome for a couple of days.
